This is a new thread on the same subject -- safety! The old thread was too long.

In case anybody is wondering the khukuri is a 20 inch Ang Khola.

Khukuri FAQ

Thank You Arvind, I meant to do this at 1 AM, but nodded off and forgot.

Maybe he has narcolepsy?

BTTT

I think the fan on my computer starting to sound like a vacuum cleaner may have something to do with my nodding off.

I brought a wooden ( not leather covered ) Chainpuri scabbard that had separated for Bill to take a photo of the last time I was up, but Pala grabbed it and took off with the thing and fixed it. No picture to enlighten forumites. Hey guys, these are two pieces of wood glued along the spine and the edge, then covered with leather. The wood shrinks and expands, there goes the glue bond, leaving just the leather to protect the hand from getting cut. Will try to get a picture to someone to post here to let you see it.

Thanks guys: Bill left, and the next 2 days I spent with the flu/virus staying close to the bathroom.

Now that that seems better, I get to go wait for an hour or two today at my doctor's and let her yell at me. If she wasn't a "jewish mother" type, it wouldn't be worth putting up with it but she it and it is.

Anyway, once more into the breach - or was that BTTT?
