The Zebra Pot Reviewed

Nice video!

I have been using Zebra's for a long time. I have a 12cm and a 16cm. I am glad I have them as the 16 seems tough to get at the moment. I wonder what that is all about.

One tip that I do is to put a wire ring around the lid bar/thingie. When it is hot, it can be hard to wedge a stick under there. So, I have a little wire loop, and it is much easier to grab with a stick.

You can barely see the wire loop in this pic, but it is there.

Ben's sells little carbon steel skillets that can replace the insert too.

I found them over there quite quickly under the Grand Trunk name. Grand Trunk is an importer, for an example look on newegg.

Anyone have one of these?

Looks exactly like an MSR stowaway pot

I bought a smaller Zebra pot and when I got it, was disappointed to find it had no bail. Instead, it had a big mug-like handle on the side. That's not a huge big deal to me as I almost always cook on a stove of some type. The one reason the pot does get left home most of the time is the weight. They're heavy! But I'd also describe them as "bombproof." Built to last a lifetime!
