The Zombie War...

Speaking of turning Zombies into splatter matter, I picked up my 12 ga Benelli Nova with ghost ring sites last week. Some months ago I decided that I needed to burn through my leftover 12 guage ammo one way or another, and I always wanted a "combat" style shotgun, so I decided to do it Italian style. I didn't have the 1100 bucks for a M1 Combat semi auto, so I went with the Benelli Pump. It was on backorder, but I think it was worth the wait.

Yeah yeah, no pictures.. I know. But check it out here:

Although I think some .22 cal incendiary rounds would be better on Zombies, destroying brains and all, this will do for just about every other living creature down here in Texas.

Speaking of wait and weight, I am thinking about getting the Benelli brand recoil reducer for this thing. I imagine that it will take quite a bit of the hurt out of the friendly end of 1oz slugs and buckshot.

Didn't they have some sort of specialized incendiary round in World War Z. Cherry PIE or something like that?

Great looking shottie, Dave. I'm thinking about picking up a nice pump myself.

Burning zombies are no fun at all.

Here's my zombie rig. SAR khukuri and Benelli.

BTW - Monster Hunter International features an HI khukuri as one of the protagonists main weapons.

If I remember correctly the "cherry PIE" was the .223 round that was issued to troops during the offensive in what was the USA before the Zombie outbreak. P.I.E. - stands for Pyrotecnic Incindiary Explosive, Cherry was the color of the Zombie's heads after you popped one and it started to burn their brains out.

Kinda gross, but please remember... they ARE undead.

Awsome book... I really liked the "lobo" or "Lobotomizer".

Ah yes, Senior Lobo:D

From what I understand Brad Pitt's production company has the movie rights to this book. I can just image the overhead shot of a box of humans with supplies in the middle creating a mountain of domed corpses.

Of course, Hollywood will find the shot every second, rest for five minutes, thing to be pretty boring. Expect the fire to be full auto with soldiers breaking ranks swinging their lobos wildly. Still oughta make for a damn good flick:D:thumbup:
