With a few of the bad trades going on, I thought it would be nice to have something positive.
I recently posted a knife for trade in the trade forum and was contacted by (TheFactor). He made me a trade offer, and we talked for some time, and finally came to an agreement. I did check his feedback, and he had none, lol. He is a fairly new member and this would be his first deal. Naturally it's always tough being new, and not having feedback, and we all had to start somewhere. I gave him some trading tips to live by, and tried to make the deal as seamless as possible for him. When doing a trade with a new member who has no feedback, I always ask that they ship their end first, and I ship immediately upon receipt. After talking for some time, I got a really good feeling about him, and did not require that of him. He did however mail his end that same evening while we were still talking. I mailed my end the very next morning. Well my end reached him first, and he let me know he had it in hand. The next day his end showed up, and it was exactly as he had described. The deal went off without so much as a snag, and we are both happy. It's not all bad, and even the new guys need a break. I would deal with him again anytime. He now has his first positive feedback with more to come, I'm sure. Thanks again for the easy deal.
