Theft of Two Busse Knifes

I just found my Fairfax County VA-parked SUV ransacked and camping gear stolen, including a black crinkle/micarta Badger Attack Ergo in its green canvas/kydex sheath and, worse, a .22 thick satin/SOS G10 Active Duty. I don't mind so much the two Vic 111mm SAKs and stainless water bottle, but have there two Busses knifes taken really stings! There's a reward if by small chance anyone hears about or sees either of these two Busse knives. Heads up and hold onto your knives!

Best of luck in your recovery. Virginny, huh? I had a 1911A1, and a Colt AR15, burgled from my Prince William County home in 1990.

I’ll try and keep an eye out on the net.
I don’t build kydex sheaths , only leather. But I’ll gladly help you with a leather sheath as a replacement if you find or replace the knives. No rush on this offer at all

I Feel Your Pain on LOSS...
I've always wondered what I would do if I found someone IN THE ACT of stealing even One Busse Knife.
Naw, I know what I would do; But I cannot print the words here:)
But, IF, as Iron Wagon and The Grown Up Kid said above, you have ANY photos of them, I do watch eBay regularly for new Busse knives that come up. I can download any pics you can post, then compare them with anything out there in internet land, if they try to sell them.
After All, What's a Community of Knife Brothers & Sisters For, Anyway?

I"ve been here before...& and am very sorry you are here now. My house got robbed a few years ago, among the stolen was a box of Busse & 'kin, 10K worth...
The POS thief listed them a few at a time on eBay, where Liu Kang (Dan) spotted them w/o knowing & began to deal for the few listed. Long story short, I was out some money, but he helped me to recover the whole box worth, & was instrumental in getting this thief arrested. (Because a LE #27 was in the box, him & Jerry had a convo, then Jerry called me to ask if I had sold any #27's- amazingly lucky that my # helped to get them ID'd as mine) I'd like to say that the POS thief was convicted, but no, the county DA dropped the charges & never refiled...what a d*ckhead... 😒😒😒
Long & short, check the selling sites, local pawns, etc. Hope you get them back! 🙏

How do District Attorneys get away with withholding Justice from thieves like that...?
Isn't it both their JOB and their PASSION? Argh...
By contrast, I am Glad to Read a mostly Happy Ending to your story, tho, that you recovered "the whole box worth" of 10K value Busse Knives, thru a B/F forumite. Liu Kang is an upstanding member; I remember seeing his posts from the early "otts" (2000's)

Thanks! I really appreciate the good advice and all the good thoughts of you have all expressed - the Busse crowd really IS a community! THANKS AGAIN!

By the way, the GOOD news is that my insurance company (no names, but the one for military folks out of San Antonio) has just sent me a check that will completely cover the economic loss (if not the emotional loss) of all the items stolen.

He's had his issues here back then, no doubt....I'm a mod lol, I know...
But if he hadn't followed up on a faint recollection over my #27 & called Busse, I'd have never seen my knives again- or worse, I'd have seen them for sale through him, & accused him of nasty things. I can say 100% that I know he had no involvement in the theft, & that he did everything he could to help me. Lucky break. 👍

sorry to hear that, been there too.
I lost 3 busses a week before Christmas 2019, got stolen from my brother's car trunk, two of them are pretty hard to find.
a snakeskin black CGFBM, a black custom shop no-cbt bowie hellrazor and a swamp warden.
I checked ebay regularly to see if they appear there, nothing so far.
