Placed my order on 4/9, received a confirm email. theknifestore.com website says that a credit card won't be charged until the order is ready to ship. The website also says that an email will be sent when the order ships with the tracking number.
I noticed that my credit card wasn't charged after a week so I used the website form to inquire. No response. Sent an email last week. No response. Called the number listed. No answer. My credit card was charged on 4/22. Did not receive a confirm email. Still waiting for the package.

The customer service is lacking.
 
I wanted to follow-up on this thread. I still haven't received my order and have not been able to reach anyone at the company.

Call your credit card company on friday if you still don't receive any response, or package.Let the card company know you want to start the process for a chargeback.Good Luck
 
I got an email from theknifestore with a tracking number. The package is scheduled to ship today.
So it looks like I'm all set.
 
AF I would still let them know how they're customer service and lack of any responsible actions has made you feel and also let them know that you have shared this information with this VERY large group of consumers! It may help other future members when dealing with them! Hope it all works well for you!

I placed an order in March and was sent a confirmation. a couple of days later I received an e-mail saying my product was temporarily unavailable. I was assured that my credit card would not be charged until the order was ready to ship. Fast forward to april 10th. A charge appears on my statement, so now according to the website my order should be here in 7-10 days. Fast forward to May 10th, 30 days later still no order. No answer at the listed phone number for the past two weeks. No answer to any of the e-mails I sent. You be the judge....looks like FRAUD to me!! I have started to process for a charge-back.
They took me for $114.10 and I am not going to go quietly!

Still no knives!! Still no response to my e-mails!!
Still not answering their phone!! Investigation started!!

Well, I received a receipt for my purchase in the mail
yesterday. I thought that was strange! They wont
answer their phones, they dont follow their policies,
I dont know what to make of it. Even stranger, today my
knives showed up in the mail. I can now say they dont
practice outright fraud, however their customer service
is the worst I have ever seen. From order date to
receipt of product was 78 days!!........SUCKS
