So I've narrowed the search for a new grinder between a North Ridge and TW90.

Anyone have a pro/con list between the two or is it a coin flip in the end?

Both excellent machines definitely up there price wise...if you don't have a dedicated Surface Grinder there is one available for the TW-90 built by Travis for his grinder. There was rumor that Northridege was working toward one as well not sure if it's available yet.
So with that in mind that would be the only deciding factor for me if I had need of a surface grinder.

No Sir, gotta have the surface grinder attachment but I was under the impression that NR already had theirs done. Maybe I should call them and find out for sure. If they don't then there will just be 1.

I believe the surface grinder attachment can be a "big deal". Next only to a good 2 X 72 belt grinder and a drill press.

Yes Sir, the surface grinder is a must have attachment for me.

I just left NR a message about their attachment.

I would not be without one....that is the nice thing about the TW-90 2X72 grinder Travis designed a Surface Grinder attachment on a tool arm that runs the 2X72 belts. Looks to be well built and well thought out design and sure takes up less space than a Floor Surface Grinder!!!

Not sure if Northridge’s is ready yet, but I’ve spoken with him about it, and his magnetic clamp will be an order of magnitude better than Travis’s.

Just got off the phone with him (the owner of North Ridge) really nice guy but no surface grinder at this point. Has all of the drawings done but no prototype yet and his goal is to have one working by the end of the year...

Yes, I do have the surface grinder attachment and it does a great job. It's well designed and easy to use.
