There are some fantastic people in these parts - paul hilborn is one of them

I agree with you, Duncan. I got my very first Peanut from Paul - a nice dark red jigged bone. One of my favorite knives and the beginning of my small Peanut collection.

All I can say is WOW, this is what life is all about - the thoughtfulness, kindness and friendships that span all over the globe in this little family we have here. Over and over again I'm impressed with the examples like this that I see here.

Paul you're awesome, what a wonderful gesture. I recall being saddened by hearing of Duncan's lost Charlow. I could immediately relate to it, knowing how I'd feel if I lost my #55. It's literally been everywhere with me since the day I got it. My secondary knife is always there too but it rotates amongst a few different ones, but the 55 is always there. At this point it's not just a tool anymore, it's a part of me, a daily companion 24/7 that's always there and always gets the job done. It completes my daily "kit" when I go out the door. If I lost it I'd be very upset to say the least.

This is a fine example of what makes this forum so great. People willing to go out of their way to help someone else out.

Congrats all around, gents. You do us proud.

Paul is such a great guy, a true gentleman, I've been on the receiving end of his generosity, a very thoughtful man.

Class act. I have given and I have received on this forum. My tc barlow is in my pocket today, as it has been every day since receiving it from a wonderful member here. What I'm saying is; this place is just great. Literally the only knives I have left in my collection are knives received from members here.

Use it in good health sir. Beautiful knife, wonderful gesture.

Nice going Paul!
Eloquent thank you, Duncan!
It is this whole attitude that keeps me here - thank you!

This is truly a wonderful place. I was gifted a nice Bullet End Jack this week....the kindness here continues to blow me away. :)

A great gift exchanged between two real gentlemen here. Congratulations on the knife Duncan, and Paul, thank you for your gracious spirit.

Wow! My wife and have been driving to our new home in Texas from CA the past several days, I am just now getting on the forum..... Congrats Duncan on a beautiful replacement knife. Paul's generosity is not surprising. This Thanksgiving, we're sitting here in a LaQuinta with the three dogs, waiting for our belongings to arrive, very thankful for each others love and company.

I am also thankful for this little corner of the Internet. When I read posts like this one Duncan, I realize what truly special people reside here.
