As you may know, I have a thread running here about how Ryan Myrda (TacticalBlade) ripped me off for the price of a used CRK Umnumzaan. Well, I saw a post from Striderco saying he wanted to "totally hook me up". I check my email and there's a message saying he wanted to have a brand new Umnumzaan shipped to me! 
Of course I'm not going to let him, but it floored me that a total stranger wanted to send me an expensive knife out of his own pocket just from the goodness of his heart because he didn't want to see me ripped off. Kind of restores the faith that the thief took away. :thumbup: Thank you, Striderco, you're awesome in my book! :thumbup:
