• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

There I were, resting, when upon a sudden. I spied vinegar and mustard in my fridge.

Benchmade 960
Bought in person from Whitey at Whitey's Knives in Roanoke, VA then patina-ified with a paper towel and the ingredients listed within the subject-line.

He's reaching around 80 years old now and he's no longer a Benchmade dealer, this was the last of three he owned. He sold it to me for $145. He was somewhat sad about it. Then we shared stories, shook hands and off I went.

That looks amazing man! What did you do with the paper towels to get that pattern?

Twist them while soaked so only parts of them touch the metal at a time rather than the entire thing.

That looks really awesome. I really like the sharp-looking edges separating the darker and lighter patinas. Almost looks like a gray camo pattern.
