Does the LE chop and split as well as the CG? My limited experience leads me to believe that the CBT really does work. No corrugation on the LEs means more friction...yeah? Or no?
 
That LE is Fatter! This baby will split it wide open. Friction is what it is all about! Of course the convex grind helps on the splitting end too! Put some ass behind it and you'll have splinters flyin' everywhere!
