BESIDES great products!

I visited the Spyderco Outlet Store today. I picked up an Alamite Walker Jr., a kydex neck sheath for my Military AND a copy of the new Spyderco Dealer video. I got to handle a Shabaria and gawk at all the other great Spyderco products!!
I met Sal's daughter and Michelle and another Spyderco gentleman. (Sorry, I didn't get his name.)
The friendliest, most informed group you'll find ANYWHERE!! Just like Mr. Glesser!!

ABSOLUYELY THE BEST!!! If you have a chance, drop in and see the great folks at the Outlet!!!

Yep they had 6 or 8 different Kydex sheaths for Spydies!!! A maker in Ohio does a terrific job. Had to get one for my Military. Now I've got an extra space for yet ANOTHER Spydie! LOL
Will try to get my wife to scan it and figure out how to post.

If the sheath maker is from Ohio it will probably be Mike Sastre of River City Sheaths. He made the sheaths for the BF Blue Natives and Matriarchs and also makes sheaths for a number of other Spyderco knives. I have one of his neck sheaths for my Harpy as well as the BF Native, the workmanship is first rate and Mike is a helluva nice guy to deal with.

Don't worry that the world might end tomorrow....in Australia it's tomorrow already.

Hello, what's the address of spyderco outlet store? is it close to the factory? Do they sell Spyders cheaper than other knife retail stores?

Thanks

SharpEdge - SFO is located at 4565 N. Hwy 93 in Golden, Colorado. SFO is approximately 200 yards north of the "Big House" (our Golden Factory location).

Knives at the store might be less expensive on some of the older models. New models are about the same as most retail knife stores.

Sales over the internet are full retail except for disontinued models.

sal

Thanks Sal!
I'd also add that there is a better selection of Spydies including the discontinued models AND the hard to find ones than many retailers. AND a good selection of accessories for the well dressed knife knut!

Hi John!
thanks for sharing the pix's with us.
One question so: isn't the military a bit heavy for a neck-sheath? I mean what spydie will you clip on instead?

Greetings
red

Hi Red,
Yes, the Military IS pretty heavy!

Thought my ears were burnin'. SFO is the only place besides my shop that has access to the full line of sheaths that I make. The neck sheaths allow you to deploy the blade on the draw if desired, and are made for just about all of the current production Spydies and a lot of the discontinued models also. Those concerned with knife weight on neck, should check out the Delica, Calypso Jr ltwt., Cricket, Harpy ltwt., Michael Walker, and Dragonfly. In plain edge versions they are also "airline legal". Angela at SFO is great people to deal with, so give her a call if you're interested.

Take Care and Stay Safe,
Mike

Colobbfan - Are there neck sheaths made for other models such as the Starmate and Wegner? How much do they cost?

Samo,
I'll check today on the Starmate and Wegner,Jr. I recall the price as $25.95 for any of the models.
I'll post later in the day about the specific ones you're looking for.
