Theres gotta be more Native 5s out there

I like and carry mine a lot more since I swapped the clip to a low rider from the original spaceman.

I'd be curious to see a pic of your pocket clip lowrider style. I have the forum version too like yours and a lowrider clip is interesting. The G10 Native is one of my favorite models they make.

I have thought about getting one many a time. I was just concerned that it would be a bit too small for my taste. The other day I ran into a customer at work who was carrying about 6 or 7 different knives, all Spyderco! One of them was the Native 5. I could tell from the protrusion in his pocket and asked if he'd let me take a look.

Nice knife for sure, but I found that it was indeed a little small for my tastes. I have found that the Manix 2 has a very similar feel, just bigger. Now that they make it flat ground I just may get the Manix.

I just gave my production N5 to a friend who was edc another knife for the last 15 years.I carried it since the model was released. It was hard to let it go, but I have a forum, moonglow, and fluted Ti stashed.I am waiting on the CF 110V model and that one will be my EDC.It's great little tank of a knife.I consider it a upgraded mini Manix....

Little tank is right. I've done a lot of heavy work with mine.

One more, my Spyderco Native 5 Titanium Fluted C41TIF5, a perfect knife.

I'm just waiting patiently, biting my lip, and hoping for a lightweight Native 5 in S110V. That would be very hard to beat.

Love the fluted Ti version, but Im just wondering why they didnt give it a steel upgrade? Its a shame, because a fluted Ti native 5 in s110v would be my grail

May be because street price would go over $300. Or may be because this knife is not designed to cut dozens of tons of cardboard:)

I picked a Forum one up in a trade and in all truth, it just didn't do anything for me. So its for sale on the exchange.

I carried a LW Native for over 10 years. I thought I'd love the 5, but I didn't. Carried it a handful of times, and finally traded a couple of months ago to a buddy.

The Manix 2, and then, the LW Manix 2, are the knives that replaced the Native.
