"There's More Than Corn In Indiana" 5K Tradeaway

Thanks everyone and a special thanks to Kerry. The knife was waiting for me when I got home from work tonight! They must use a different postal service out there in Indiana!:D It's a beauty-the corncob jigging is a real neat touch, it makes the knife nice and light and grippy...I'll try to put up some pics on my day off, right now I'm gonna go CE & CF this sweet new knife!!!;)

That was quik shipping for sure. I'm glad you like it ;)

Just got back from our snow trip last night, and just catching up on this one: Congrats to the weiner! :) And Kerry, very generous of you.

Tony, I'm shocked you did tell Kerry that your girlfriend works at the DQ! Congrats on a super giveaway.

Kerry, what can I say.......very original and generous!

OHMYGOODNESS!...I have been outfolksy'd. I will shoot pix of Jivedaddy's trade maybe later today but I wanted to let ya'll know it has arrived and I am humbled. :o:thumbup::cool:

Tony sent me a seriously over the top trade, along with a very nice "thank you" note. I gotta say, I was blown away with these very nice folksy things that he traded me. Personally I believe I got the better end of the deal. The "old book" is a reprint of the original from 1874, The Adirondacks Illustrated. The ebony knife is a Crown Cut. Co. regular jack in great condition. The lockback is a nice one by John Howser that anyone would be happy to own.

I BET YOU BOTH GOTS HAPPY FEETS!:D

I couldn't keep the chickens from eating the corn once I put em in the box so I had to come up with plan B...I'm glad you're happy with the trade Kerry, I sure am!!!

Ok, Kerry's definition of folksy and mine line up just fine...

But all the way around that was one sweet trade. Fantastic knives going both ways...
