I have a possibility for getting a whole pile of Type K thermocouples (used once in a lab environment then changed out) for quite cheap. Is there any interest in this?
I'd probably be able to pass them on for around $5.00 each if there's interest.

I know what that is, but I've only seen then used in flat bricks with a hot and cold side. Are these different? Uses? Voltage / wiring needed to use?

Ah. I'm thinking of something with the same principals but on a much smaller scale. :o

the actual measuring part is about 1/16-1/8 inch diameter, they are typically on about 2 feet of wire. I have one sticking through 2 little holes in the side of my heat treat kiln, and another stuck in my casting burnout kiln, they both run the PID controllers that run my kilns
