I just received a brand new , in the box, antique thermocouple calibration meter (certified in 1983) It is really beautiful ... and diamond pivoted. I'll post photos tomorrow. I was re-reading this info and thought some folks might get an insight into why a TC may read different than another indicator on your oven/forge.
