These 2 Better Be Worth It

The Flint Edge I use is an old michigan single bit I bought at a dive for $3. It is old, imprint is ok, but man did it sharpen up nice, keeps a good edge, and has good balance on my modified maul handle I made for it. I really love it. Are they "special" ? I n the grand scheme probably not, there are a million of them out there - but I am just very loyal to mine, thats all.

And it doesn't like foreigners trying to inch in on it....... :)

ive tried all afternoon to post on this thread and it would not let me... i would type a couple paragraphs and it would say that my message was 'too short'. so i think operator hijacked the thread because he was ashamed to admit the he liked the GB axes...;)
now, im sure that this will go thru...
btw; it really would not work for me earlier... so im not going to type it all over again... maybe this will work...

wow man. those are sweet. thanks for the pics...
i have the forest axe, the splitting maul and the american felling axe with 32" straight handle...
the american felling axe may be my favorite axe... it is a nice working tool, thats for sure...! hell, they all are!:)

My lovely GB are american felling, big splitter (the photo below) and forest for cutting.
Splitting maul has the autograph of a blacksmith, I was at the factory GB this summer, so it's only for the collection :))

Are these lefthanded? of did the photo get " flipped "? very nice, kinda like the bottom one.

No, photo are normal proportional.
Bottom axe- Little Viking Axe, positioned as carving woodworking catpenter- very good and universal axe
All axes are simmetrical grinding, only big (Norge timber) are righthanded.
