I read an account of a man taking a grizzly with his Buck folder in a popular outdoor magazine several years ago (he was fighting for his life).

Why is that thing called a knife?And why would anybody attempt to kill the bear with that?And in cold ampules don't work(as far as I know from pellet gun I owned).And how would that handle handle impact on something really hard(moving hundreds of pounds of muscles,bones)?And could that thing go off by accident and freeze ones leg,kidney,or other part of body,or has it some safety lock that has to be unlocked while bear is patiently waits?
