I dont guess I am "suspect" but I'll vote anyway :D

looks like TTO to me, I say remove the nick.

TTO and all of his other names should be removed forever. He is an idiot, and a jerk on top of that. I cannot stand people who lie. He is most certainly not " a suspect" let alone "the" suspect. Get rid of him PLEASE!

I own 4 Emersons, which is the most of any brand I own.I would change some things on them, yet I always seem to be putting one in my pocket:) .I thought I found my perfect work knife with the BM 710,now that sits in a safe and a CQC7 goes to work.I don't consider myself a suspect and agree that this guy sure isn't one. However calling yourself one doesn't make you one,I would not bother with the guy.

I've been on a bunch of forums over the years, not to mention the many newsgroups I've taken part in. The one thing that ruins it is a nasty troll. I say nuke him, and ban his IP.

Music to my ears! LOL :D

I've been reading these posts with some interest, and can't for the life of me figure out what this idiot is out to prove.I don't consider myself to be a "usual suspect" by any means although I do love my Emersons. But what's this "TheUsualSuspect" crap?
I say go play in some heavy traffic "unusualsuspect" boy and take your alter-egos with you :p

Awww, man, I don't even know where to begin, so I'll just begin.

I am reading things here that just don't compute!

If you're posting here in defense of the "Usual Suspect" title, then you most likely ARE a Suspect!

How many times has it been stated that custom ownership is NOT required??? MANY times, over and over again.

I considered myself a Suspect LONG before I ever acquired my first custom. Why? Because I can totally grasp the sensation involved with acquiring the first Emerson Knife that really does it for you. As soon as you open that first crushed (or uncrushed?!?!) box and withdraw an Emerson blade that gives you that feeling of "Ohhh yeah, this piece is RIGHT" then you're a Suspect! As soon as you read the thoughts of another Suspect and you think "Yeah, right on, brother!" then you're a Suspect! As soon as you feel that you're within a group of people who think like YOU do tactically, then you're a Suspect.

Tactical nature. The difference between right and wrong. The yearning for blades that will get the job done when the chips are down. Do you feel the sense of such things? Then you're a Suspect!

I AM a Suspect because I love EKI knives, and because I totally relate to the mentality of other Suspects. Period.
It's a state of mind. It's an appreciation of people who take control of their own security and of other people who choose to do the same. If I'm wrong here, PLEASE correct me, Suspects. Suspects are the type of guys who would back-up another guy in a defensive situation as long as "the right thing to do" was paramount and above all else.

There are MANY friends to be made here amongst Suspects. I am currently committing mucho dollars AND mucho dollars of Suspect friends in order to prove that my theories of "Usual Suspects" are correct. I can't name them all right here because there are so many, but guys like Hollister, Rearic, Ross, Scott, Seth, Seth, Seth, Sniper, Bob, Ray, Chris, Chris, Larry, Michael, Lance, Ernie, Derek, Derek, Oliver, Jonas, Joel, Ed,...and....the list is ENDLESS! These guys ARE Suspects!

So. What IS a Usual Suspect? It's a guy who loves quality tactical knives, with a strong Emerson influence. It's a guy who enjoys the company of other guys who feel the same way. It's a guy who can look at the world and say to himself "I'm concerned about the security of me and mine in this frigged-up world. I'm proud to associate myself with others who feel the same way, and I therefore call these "others" both friends and Suspects.

THIS is what makes a Suspect a Suspect.

This....is pretty much all it takes.

If you want to be a Suspect, or if you think that you're a Suspect, then you probably are a Suspect. In fact,....I'd BET that you're a Suspect.

I am fairly new here. I lurked for a few months before I registered, in fact, I was frequenting the chats before I signed on to BF. But I do have something to say about the matter.

Forgive my blunt attitude, but I AM a Usual Suspect.

Because of the Emerson Commander I own? Not really, because even though the term started out defining enthusiasum(sp) for Emerson's fine knives, it has since evolved into something more.

It is the name of a family. A cyber born family of brothers and sisters who do more for each other than most blood related familys I have seen growing up.

Would you let someone take your family name and do things with it that will cause folks to have negative reactions whenever they come across it? Would you want your family to be associated with liars, frauds, untrustworthy slime?

You wouldn't. Don't here either.

I am not the most active Suspect, I don't own a custom, (yet), I may be out of line, but you asked.

I've never responded to one of his threads and don't intent to. I don't care what he calls himself today, tomorrow, or next month!

He's no "usual suspect" and from what I've read probably never will be. As of now, I've never seen anyone turned down by our group, and everyone who even expresses a interest has been invited to join us, as long as they can take a joke, and knows how to dish it out as well! Having a passion for Emerson knives certainly helps, as does knowing how to quarter and cook a goat!

To me, he's not only a Troll, but continually make a outright ass of himself. It's sad he doesn't know how to conduct himself, but after the mess he's dug himself in it would take a extended leave of absense for him to gain any credibility in my book.

If he's here to stay it doesn't affect me. If I had my choice I'd have banned his ass over a week ago!

...and furthermore, SURE you have to be able to kill the proverbial cow during indoctrinational distress in under 6 seconds like Jonas did here;
2SharpCowFighter.JPG

..but you'll reap the respect of your brother Suspects like See2 did here;
see2cow.jpg

Suspects are a brotherhood. You EARN such respect.....one way or another. :D

By all means ban the little turdd.
He stands for everything I intensely dislike about the youth of our era.
There is no excuses/justification for his behaviour.

Unfortunately he will just stumble along through life and end up defrauding and cheating all his miserable little life.

It is sad that we have to tolerate this miscreant.
He makes a strong case for involuntary euthanasia.
I would happily volunteer to pull the lever.
:barf:

Hasta la bye bye, chilido!

I said my peace (piece) on the other thread where he attacked See2.

It's ashamed that in this forum the term "Usual Suspect" has taken a negative conotation.

Now I'm getting tired of all the chirades.

Ohhh,...sorry Chris. I thought the money was going towards suppressing the photo of Ross trying to milk your utters after you passed-out from drinking that second case of Guinness. My mistake! :D
