RF2 Framelock - Inside Out Navy Blue Ano - Mayo/Carson/Tekna inspired Hole Pattern... Big Respect to those who have come before me! Enjoy the pics...

It will be up for sale, I just took these as I walked in from the shop and they turned out nice... I should have gotten blade pics! :D

It's sharp... will push cut phone book paper. ...and cut me, hence the band aid. I had to use two.
 
Get them while you can folks! Sometime soon the secondary market on a knife like this will be out of reach for the casual collector or knife user. This knife looks awesome, the shape, contours, proportions etc...
 
Daniel, I've been aware of your work for a couple years, you've gone from kickass. . .to astonishing, astounding, amazing, miraculous, fantastic, epic, marvelous, um, I'm all out of words, but that knife is like an epic taco rapped in bacon, dipped in the batter of champions, deep fried in the oil of epic wins and then drenched in awesomesauce, ya know what I'm sayin'? :D

do the holes noticeably lighten the knife?

i'm temped to pull the trigger.
but i'm holding out for the RF-Flipper.

have you seen Jason Clark's variation on the Mayo holes?

I need to weigh it again to be sure but if I recall correctly the holes lightened it by about 1/2 ounce. I better check though...

I tried holes, milling and a .125" carbon fiber frame side... the CF is so light it brings the knife down to about 4 ounces.

I also checked out Jason Clark's work, it looks good! I had a Tekna Dive Knife back in about 1987 and it is always what I think of with the holes and then Mayo... he is the man! :D
