Thick heavy chopping knife?

Ya I see they make cherokee rose bowie knife. I emailed them about it to get the dimensions and pricing and asked if they make any other straight thick knives.

Besides that one and swords I don't see any straight bladed knives on their site. Please let me know if you find another.

What is the Zilla ?
 
Busse made two khukuri type models the Test Team Killazilla and the KZII if I recall correctly they both had the same blade but different handles.
 
I am actually a bit surprised that there is no production bowie that is this thick. Sure it is unusual to have a knife like that... but so is having fantasy blades... I would think there is definitely a strong niche market for such a 0.5 inch thick strong blade.

Edit: Also an update. Of the nearly 10 knife makers I made, most did not respond to me about this and of the ones that did they said they were not interested in a project like this. Only 1 besides Dan Keffeler himself said he could do it and asked me for more information about what i wanted in terms of sheath, handles etc. He hasn't gotten back to me after I emailed him so lets see what happens.
