Thick or thin B4?

I cant swing both. If I want one for a hunting knife would I be better off with thick or thin?

Since I sold my LCABS, definitely a thin one for me, in tan. If I get 2, the second will be black handle, not sure if I will go thick or thin, already have the wardog...

Thin. My thick small Busse's aren't really all that good for what a small bladed knife does. Except of course for stabbing concrete blocks.

1 blk thin and 1 tan thin. I bought two basic 10s last time these will be the tag-team with them.

Trust me...nobody wants to hear my opinion....but...

At...what is it? .220...with that wide of a blade...and the full height...it will still be wicked SHARP!

SO the THIN one....well...I got cut just by LOOKING at it. OUCH!

Either way...you CANNOT go wrong!

My unsolicited opinion.

reading ur guys' posts really helped me choose thin. for a smaller blade thin makes more sense.

thanks bros!

double oink.

I have been spending entirely too much time fondling my War Dog (for the handle), Scrap Muk, HRLM, and Hog Muk pondering the thin vs. thick dilemma. With maybe the exception of the War Dog, all could be exceptional at game processing or general camp knives.
Their respective thicknesses are: .235, .190, .190, .165
The B4 and both Muks have a 4.25” blade, the HRLM, 4.13”
These three all have blade heights of about 1-3/8”. The B4 appears to have a blade height of at least 1.5”
So after much contemplation, I have decided that there should be no need for a thickness of .220 in a blade of this style and purpose. As long as I don’t need to pry with it, .155t should excel for any task.

I'm going to have to go black handle and thin.

I've got plenty of thick infi. I can always use a little more Guy-style Thinfi.

Thin is better for hunting imo... it's a better skinner and processes meat/food with ease

Yes ... but remember that Garth, that Hunter from Wauseon, plans on getting 1 thick, 1 thin. He calls it the perfect processing kit. Imagine chopping through bones with a piece of Thinfi!!

I've used an ABA III for my deer dressing and skinning knife for 4 years and never a problem. It is thinner yet at .125 I believe....

ARGH I can't decide. I know I'm going to get 2 in black, but can't decide if it's thin & thin or thin & thick.
