Thicker LaGriffe?

Does any one own multiple LaGriffes? I own three production Emerson LaGriffes and the first two I bought are thin, small, lightweight blades. I gave one to my brother and the other to a friend. I just received another in the mail for myself. Comaparing this new one to the others, this LaGriffe is thicker than .125 in. and it is heavier (I don't know how much becasue I do not have a small enough scale). Is this because of an accidental thicker Black T coating? Oh yeah, it's about to burst out of the sheath.

I personally like it.

The most recent steel La Griffe I have is a little thicker and longer than my first one. Not but much, but enough that that the larger one won't fit into the smaller one's sheath. The titanium seems to be the same size as my first steel La Griffe. I don't mind the slight increase.

The very first La Griffe both steel and titanium were hand ground. Therefore there might have been slight size variations. All current La Griffes should be of uniform size, shape, weight etc.
