Thicker ?

The black blade
Correct

Not sure if you're asking about handle thickness or blade stock, but the stone washed blades look a tad bit thicker even though I'm sure they're the same, it's the rounded spine on the coated blade that makes it look thinner. I've noticed this same optical illusion on my own knives.

But if we're talking about the handles, looks like the brown handles are tad bit thicker. Something about the rads on each one making them appear to be different.

Is this the GSP?
Talking about the Blades
The stonewash look larger but the coated one is thickest

lighter colors always look larger, but I am going to say they are all pretty close to the same size.
Not all the same
All the same thickness
Not all the same
When are GSP sheaths gonna be available?
Available Now :)
I’m going with same thickness
Not all the same
Nope
Left and right are very close. The middle looks thinner maybe because of the black coating
nope
Left one looks thicker. But the coating does add some “artificial” thickness doesn’t it?
correct
Nope
Nope
Gonna go with left as well for $300 Alex
Wrong
Nope
& right, too 😉🤙
I weighed mine due to same curiosity, the micarta/coated GSP (Sage) was approx 2g lighter than my stonewashed/micarta GSP. The coated one looks thinner to me also, both mine & yours 🤔🤙
Nope coated is thicker
Trick question. They’re the same.
Nope
The middle one
Great following guess
Going to say middle as well
Great following guess
Jerry said left, so I'm going left also for no other reason lol
Nope

The Uncoated Stone washed blades are .110" thick at the ricasso and .110 " at the tail end where blade is exposed at the rear "thong hole".

The Black coated blade is .118 at the "thong hole" and .118 at the ricasso

So black really is slimming :) by .008" :)

Thought it was a cool optical illusion

working on sheaths,IMG_4015.JPG order them up if you would like some

& right, too 😉🤙

David, color me surprised 😅
What are their weights? 🤔
did you not already weigh yours ? 🤔

I don't have calipers, but my Coated in sage seems the same thickness, it's weight is 2g lighter than a satin.
So you are saying they are two different knives?

The same knife one satin and one coated, the coated will always be thicker. Unless the coated ones are made from different stock.

Yes. I ordered 3 GSP's- 1 sage/ tan canvas & 1 satin/ black canvas. The 3rd is a satin/ black G10, obviously heavier than the other 2.
The sage/TCM is 2g lighter than my satin/BCM. I weighed them because I could actually feel a difference in hand. The Sage actually looks thinner, but I'm discounting a lot of that as an illusion to me visually. The scale is consistant with the weights though.
