You know what sucks? Thieves that pretend to be you so that they can try to make fraudulent bank transactions in your name. Luckily this particular thief was unsuccessful, but it looks like I'm still going to be spending Halloween changing my bank account number, cancelling my direct deposits, etc.. All because some <insert colorful invective> decided that my money would be better off in her hands.

I like to think that I've successfully reined in my natural tendency towards hotheadedness. However, I also think that I owe some woman in Idaho a spectacularly brutal ass-kicking.

They could come have mine . Of course I would beat them on general principles.
That would help get them in the mood for Dealing with my credit rating .

same thing happened to my friend cept the person who stole his identity bought a house and ended up boosting his credit.....

as for your situation i recommend a 15" ang khola

hope things get better for you bro... keep us posted

Gee, Mr. Owl, how many whacks with the spine of an 18" AK does it take to get to the center of a root canal?

Nova,
This seems more and more common. I think it would be just fine to go medieval on the low life. Hope you get everything straightened out.
Steve

thats terrible!
Josh, you forgot to tell me your SSN in that last email..
can you send me the last 8 digits?

Seriously, how can these guys steal your identity? As in whole identity? I trust that they busted the female of a dog persuasion.

Thieves are the second lowest form of life. The lowest is a child molester. Glad you didn't get burned.

Yikes! Sorry to hear, Nova.

Happened to me 5-6 years ago. CC company called to ask verify I was buying thousands of $ in Ft. Worth. Never been there.

All I had to do was write a letter: didn't pay a thing. Hope you get out of it as easily.

As fas as the thief goes, here's a quote:

"One should forgive one's enemies, but not before they are hanged." Heinrich Heine (1797-1856)

I wouldn't mind seeing that kicking thing....

Sorry to hear that. ID theives should have a car dropped on them.

Use this instead. Think of it as the ball-peen hammer of Dentistry...

God, theft makes me really mad. Something about it that's just completely distasteful and malicious, you know? Hope they catch her and pin her to a friggin' wall.

My family's had this happen before. Luckily, we didn't get stuck with any of it.

I've had it happen, though, that I've gone to another country and forgot to tell the credit card company in advance. A couple of charges into the stay and my card stops working. Then I realize they think those charges from Bangkok look a little suspicious. Always good to communicate!

I was thinking "Oldboy"-style (claw hammer) originally, but will look into that suggestion. ;)
