Thin AEB-L

Aldo isn't stocking AEB-L in thinner (.070-.065) sheet- anyone know of another source?
I have a good local market for small knives in this material, thanks for any ideas!
 
It seems to be a problem for many...I have been considering just using cpm20cv or 440C instead since it seems more readily available. I outsource heat treat though.

20CV is great. Got some from AKS for a kitchen knife. Had peters go to 61HRC very impressed.

Anyone ever email the suppliers and ask when they will be restocking thin AEBL again? I want to get some of the .078 again for some paring knives. I have 2 small pieces of .056 and one small piece of .078 left and that's it. I had contacted Alpha was back in Dec and they said the order has been put in but probably around June/July they "may" have some coming but could be later.

I've contacted Aldo's shop by phone, but no info on when it'll show up again- they're trying, AFAIK
