a dream knife for me would be the kershaw knockout with a thumb ramp & better steel. I love how the large blade size isn't noticeable with the thinness of the blade in the pocket. I cannot find the width specs but any other suggestions? thin, large belly(preferably), vg10 or s30v or even better steel, lefty friendly clip. I am looking for more suggestions because i am having a hard time finding any info out on the web. I know most spydercos are very thin, i have a caly 3.5, but not much touches the knockout from what i have seen. so any one desires this kind of knife & has found the solution?

If you're talking almost paper thin, then i'd suggest a Mercator K55.
Pros:
Thin blade, great for slicing and cutting
Can take a razor edge
Nice, easy lock
Easily forgettable in a pocket
Really freaking attractive
Carbon steel

Cons:
Carbon steel (careful of rust, I learned the hard way)

Benchmade 530 pardue is the thinnest lightest blade i have and its stil a nice size with 154cm steel. Spyderco chaparal is probably my next thinnest and has carbon fiber scales and s30v blade

530 Pardue gets my vote as well. 154cm is still a good steel, if you don't want to pay extra for the S30V version.

I actually came across this in my research, added to my amazon cart lol thx for the suggestion.

mcusta makes some thin knives i had one for awhile it was pretty nice i cant remember the model number i think 114 or something

I just sold my Kershaw Knockout, great knife, nice and thin but I do agree with you, a thumb ramp or just some jimping would be fantastic. If they ever offer different color choices, I'll buy one.

Benchmade 940 is a great alternative, its my "go to" utility knife.

Mcusta makes some super thin knives, but for a left-handed mutant I'd have to recommend a slim axis lock knife first, and depending on desired size probably the 940 or 710 series knives (both winners, IMO). The 940 is slimmer, but the 710 is probably the best all-around folding pocket knife when it comes to "how much blade can I jam into a comfortable package to carry?" type questions.

Benchmade Nagara there is one used for sale. I made an offer. But anyhow check it out, really cool knife, I think you can switch the clip... Also check out a CRKT Swindle, has a bearing system so its stupid fast to open. No thumbstud but its practically a Centofante Tribute with a flipper feature. I bought the CRKT Tribute for my brother and he loves it. Plus the Swindle has a unique pocket clip that should work perfect for a lefty.

940 or Leek is the thinnest I own.

I was going to mention the Swindle, but haven't handled on yet. I'd probably buy one of each of the CRKT, and put the higher-end steel blade into the smooth scales. Then dump the grooved scales with cheap steel somehow. But that would make it kinda pricey (1 for the price of 2...)

Spyderco chokwe( did i spell that right?) If you can get passed the looks of the knife owners of it say its the best slicing knife in the spyderco lineup, If you can;t get past the looks I vote for the stretch, I had one in vg-10 and it was a great little knife, but If i bought another it would be in ZDP-189 while you can still find them.

From the forum title, I was thinking BM 530 or 940/943 (all very thin... the 530 is crazy thin).

But upon reading your post, I'd say check out the Zero Tolerance 0350. I love mine. It's probably the thinnest ZT around... it's around the thickness of my Paramilitary... much heavier, of course... but the blade has more belly than Santa Claus. And excellent jimping; s30v steel, too. Kershaw Guy has blems for just $95, last time I checked.
