I started off giving this knife a convex grind but did not like how it turned out. I then flat ground it. The edge is very thin, but the top of the grinds are not even looking (from where the convex did not turn out good). This knife is slightly handle heavy with the balance point about 5/8" back from the heel. It is still very thin and cuts extremely effortlessly.

Specs:
.055" CPM S35VN
12.9" OAL
7.7" Cutting Edge
1.73" Tall Heel
Jade G10 Scales Over OD G10 Liners
Stainless Pins

This looks like a fine slicer, Chris. If I didn't have that 12" chef on order from you, I'd be sorely tempted to pick this up. Who am I kidding, I'm still tempted!

I cut an onion with it to test out and it glides through like nothing I have ever used before. A real slicer performer for sure.
