Thin, narrow, lightwieght, 3"-3.5", edc knife

Kershaw Skyline, Leek and chill. I enjoy all three especially the Leek if you get a cool variation even though there are many variations of the skyline as well.

The Kershaw Skyline (as many others have suggested) or CRKT Ripple are both excellent choices for your criteria.

There are several versions of the CRKT Ripple. The smaller version goes for around $25-30, has a 2.7" blade, weighs only 1.8 ounces, and is only 5/16 of an inch thick (8mm). The larger version goes for anywhere from around $30-40, have a 3.2" blade, weighs only 2.8 ounces, and is only 3/8" thick. The blades on both are around 0.8" wide, with the blade + handles being just under 1" wide. Depending on the version, they have steel or aluminum handle scales.

At first the Zancudo did not receive great reviews. with all the recommendations here, I guess that has changed.... ?

I also just noticed the $40 dollar criteria, it depends on your taste but the Skyline, Leek, CRKT swindle, SOG Flash 1 (not that crazy looking) Spyderco Dragonfly.... It's really your taste that is the game changer
