What is your (non kitchen) thinnest knife ? And your thickest ?

For me :
Adam Kornalski AgorEDC
Blade thickness according to my caliper : 2.25 mm (0.088 inch)

Miller Brother M8 Compact
Blade thickness according to my caliper : 8.6 mm (0.338 inch)

Thinnest is an Opinel #7, thickest is my Ontario Ranger Falcon.

I bet that combo is gonna be mentioned a lot of. Not a #7 or the Falcon especially, but an Opinel and a Ranger series.

Thinnest: Kershaw Skyline Damascus
Thickest: Ka-Bar

I'm really vocal on good geometry, it affects strength and performance more so than thickness alone.

The Damascus Skyline I have is way thinner than a normal Skyline, it cuts insanely well but it's almost too thin to be useful for much more than very light cutting tasks.

The Ka-Bar is heavier built than a Mora, and I've completely abused and battered a carbon Mora and never even came close to overstressing it. Although a heavier blade is nice I don't think as far as needs go I'll ever require more than a Ka-Bar if I use it like a knife and not a splitting wedge.

Is that Miller Bros knife hollow ground or saber ground?

Thinnest: Opinel No 8
Thickest: tie between my BRK Essential and LTW Genesis (at least at the spine)

Patrick:first of all, I love that M8. I want it. :-)

Thinnest knife is a SAK

Thickest is prob. my Ratweiler at .250"

Justin Gingrich was doing a "extra thick" Ranger series for a while...they were outrageous.

Thinnest is an old Imperial peanut, thickest would probably be my Buck 119 which really isn't that thick anyways.

I like slicers, in my opinion thick blades suck.

Thickest one, this beast I made back in 1989(that doesn't make me feel any younger) out of a then new steel cpm154cm. I messed it up, so I kept it.

Thinnest has to be my Opinel

He likes his knives thick. When I think of indestructible, I think Gingrich, haha. I couldn't even imagine what an extra thick Ranger series would look like.

It was Justin's Ranger Signature Series, coming in at 3/8 (.375) ( ) inch thick. He has done thicker customs. Seen vids of him shooting some blades of his all day. He's a Ranger. They are pretty extreme. Asked him once what the Rangers used as an "entry tool" figuring it we be some kinda "tactical 'hawk" and he told me they used a Remington 870 shotgun.

Opinel #8 or Svord Mini Peasant would be the thinnest. Thickest would be my Tops Lil Roughneck and I Stick, both being around .380" or just shy of 10mm.

edit: Mini Peasant - 1.51mm, I Stick - 9.68mm
