Thickest?

It was Justin's Ranger Signature Series, coming in at 3/8 (.375) ( ) inch thick. He has done thicker customs. Seen vids of him shooting some blades of his all day. He's a Ranger. They are pretty extreme. Asked him once what the Rangers used as an "entry tool" figuring it we be some kinda "tactical 'hawk" and he told me they used a Remington 870 shotgun.

You know what, that actually rings a bell. I remember him making some of his knives at the .357 thickness. I also remember how batshit I thought they'd end up from being so thick.

The 870 I know just because of the "Masterkey". It took me quite a while to realize why they called it that. It's so obvious now, haha.

I do not have thick knives.
I guess Umnumzaan is the thickest in terms of the stock thickness, but Southard Tolk feels thicker because of the grind.

The thinnest is Opinel at the spine, but Boker Exskelibur I is the thinnest toward the edge.

Thin is in for a good user...oh how I want a tops frog market....15 yrs of meat cutting plus trap line and hunting and you won't find a thick blade unless it's a cleaver!!
If it's not a chopper think 1/8 not 3/16 in a short blade......prybars suck for real life usage

TOPS "'Lil Roughneck", .375.

And my Bronze Ripple.

Specs say the Ripple blade is thinner than the Kizer Gemini (Jasmine), by .018 inches. Who knew?

What is your (non kitchen) thinnest knife ? And your thickest ?

Thinnest ? That would be my box knife with an old style original Stanley blade at four tenths of one millimeter. Less than sixteen thousandths of an inch thick. Top knife in this photo.

Thickest ? That would be my Cold Steel Pendleton Hunter in 3V 5mm at the spine

. . . well for the first couple of days I had it anyway . . . as soon as I could find time I ground it down to 2.2mm at the spine. ;)

Nah dude . . . you are supposed to pound that sucker into a wall with a hunk of brick and use it as a step to make your escape. You do that all the time right ?
