Buck fluid. It has everything except for the aluminum handles

Kershaw Scallion or Leek come to mind. The new benchmade Amicus Folder might work too.

Titanium is kind of the new aluminum, which is why there's so few aluminum handle knives of late.

That Osborne is one that comes to mind for me too. Aluminum was formerly my favorite scale for its feel, but apparently it's just so expensive to produce as a scale as titanium.

However, the aluminum scale knives I have from BM including the Osborne which I lost accidentally got lost by leaving it in my bag when you traveling, were like the heaviest knives ever. The Osborne was small.. and really hefty, it felt overbuilt.

BM are more full knives to me, then a pocket knife.

I'd probably look into a titanium Spyderco for a pocketable metal scale folder. They offer a wider selection in pocket folders, pretty much specialize in that thing. Many will fit your criteria.

Benchmade 707, 483
Brouse Bionic
Kershaw Skyline or Spyderco Delica with aftermarket aluminum scales and clip?

Spyderco sage 2 is titanium but fits your requirements well enough that I think it's worth mentioning

I think it's the "under 3in" that limits many amazing knives that are around the 3.25" range. I'd second Whitty for the Scallion. The Leek is a great knife, but with it's long and slender blade (and tip), it really is more of a Gentleman's Carry knife (think light duty). The Scallion is a little shorter, but I think is a touch more robust for those unexpected needs. But it is really small. I would also opt for the stainless version frame as the weight difference is really very negligible. Fun little assisted opener.

And here's the Leek, right at 3" Blade

If willing to go to 3.125", check out the Kizer IFT 3452. Super thin and light with the most amazing action of anything I own. Probably flipped mine over 4000 times, and still makes me go "Wow". Sorry, this one is not made in the US, but quality is simply 10/10.

If willing to go to 3.25", check out the ZT 0450/0450CF. Both under $200 street price.
