thinest spyderco blade?

Experiencias o comentarios? Gracias!
Gracias!

To you, English folks: I was wondering about getting my hands on the centofante, what's the general consensus about the lock and blade's capabilities and limits? (light prying, pressure, etc.). I wanted a super lightweight and thin slicer that could take as much abuse as possible, and this looked nice. Experiences or anecdotes? Thanks!

Hola Peacent,

Just to keep it fair for everyone else, here is my answer in English. I don't think SLICER and ABUSE could go in the same sentence. The better slicer it is, the more delicate it will be. In my experience my Centofante 3 has performed flawlessly as a general user. The lock has never failed on me. Just make sure to keep it free of debris so the lock bar can engage the blade as intended. It is easy to get it full of pocket lint. Even easier if you oil your knives in excess or with the wrong product.

Of course I don't try to open paint cans with it. It is much safer (both for the knife and for you) to use a screwdriver or dedicated tool. Another slicer I wouldn't think about prying with it is my Military. Too thin of a tip!

If you want it, get it. You will not be dissapointed.

now hold on a minute! nobody mentioned the Caly 3.5? It makes for a fine edc, and it is a few notches above the Delica 4 FRN

I just got turned on to the superblue sprint series the other day, i had comepletely overlooked these.....SMH!

Anyway, im gonna start setting aside some cash and wait for a super blue delica or stretch to pop up here and snag it.

The chaparell looks great and it will stay on the radar along with the high priority starmate. But i wanna grab an SB and im gonna snag a delica for my dad for Xmas, he doesnt carry a knife, but i figure a small knife in good steel thats light would fit the bill for him and he would discover a world of usefulness. I think most of us, at least i have, discovered how much we use our knives when we forget one at home.

If your dad is not into knives nor familiar with their care, you probably don't want to start him off with a Super Blue or high carbon steel.

oh the SB is for me. i was looking at the regular models. I think he'd get more use out of a small, well made, light edc than he thinks. Also looking into the dragonfly for him. smaller and useful

Here's my thinnest :)
Manix 2 LW with a regrind to .005 bte (Thank you Big Chris)

SB Dragonfly is very hard to come by, probably more so than the Delica. Congrats on your SB Stretch, it will be hard to get it out of your pocket to carry anything else trust me. Here's a pic of mine at work I took to help build the anticipation lol.

Chaparral is by far the best slicer in the spyderco lineup, and XHP blows VG-10 away in my experience. It's an awesome, high quality knife. The Dfly, Delica,Endura and Stretch are all .5 mm thicker and all pretty similar to each other.

i do want the chaparral as well. Saw the stretch super blue in stock and that was a done deal.

I just got a super blue stretch from house of blades too. My third super blue knife purchase today lol. Get that super blue Stretch while you still can!

The other day I got my first stretch in blue ZDP go go blue! Here is my new precious:

Agreed the Dragonfly is also pretty thin.

i hate usps tracking......it updates real fast, then its slow like the system just forgets...

anyway, today should be the day. Id like a SB DF2, but im not liking the secondhand market prices in comparison, but thats what happens when you miss the good sprints

the firefly looks real nice whenever they release it.

i hate spyderco so much...........
