Hey all it has been a while since I posted last, but things have been a little crazy around here. Here is the short version of the past four weeks.

Well you remember her, right?

I took all of your advice and decided not to let her go. I didn't have to move to Alabama (although I would like to, but my kid would never forgive me), she moved here to Michigan. So to help her make it through the winter I got this:

And just to make it all official like, I got her this:

Hell and belive it or not she said yes! Yeah, supprised me too.;) Now I am still trying to figure out how she gets to drive the brand new F150 and I am still driving the 1992 with 238,500 miles on it. It just ain't right.  :D

Heck I did not think you could get that many miles out af a Ford:D
Marriage is great, it is what you put into it, just like a knife
if you pratice at it,It just keeps getting better:)

I'm now at 23 years of marriage and couldn't be happier. This love for life deal is the way to go.

I wish you the best and hope your next 23 are as happy as mine were.

Of course I hope you get another new truck soon too!

Steve

Congrats Sean, best wishes to you both. It will probably be awhile before we see any new knives from you, LOL.

Ken

You are in a heap of trouble now boy. She has LEADER on her shirt. Does that tell you something??????
Congrats and the best of luck.

Congrats, Sean! I am very happy for you. My wonderful relationship with my wife of 29 years is the cornerstone of my life. I wish you two as happy a future together as we have been blessed with.

A Big Congrats from Donna and Myself...
Bet there won't be anymore heat treating in the kitchen oven now:D
Heck Donna always gets the best car or truck and I drive the clunker,Don't like worrying about her on the road I guess.
Nice knife picture also, cool to see another lady willing to help out with the pictures.
Again Congrats.
Bruce

Sean, WOW, how could anyone FORGET her? Congratulations, guy! We won't tell her you are a chick magnet. Our secret. Well, now you USED TO BE! I have been married to the same Cherokee for almost 29 years, and she is now getting used to me. And no, she does not drive my new truck, nor did she drive my last new truck. I tell her she belongs on a pony, anyhow. Best wishes to you both, and you may have to occasionally remind her she is lucky to be married to a dyed in the wool knife maker.

Sean, Congrats on the adventure! Kaye and I approve, we met you and this sweet girl at the blade show. Good going!

Are you sure you have time to send some mokume?

Congrats Sean!!!

I swear her long lost, twin sister lives near here and went to college with me!

She sure seemed like a sweet-heart at Blade (the really cute part is just a big fat bonus). You've got to stand up and take notice when a girl will go to a knife show, especially BLADE, and walk through it with you...BEFORE she's your wife!

Be real and make it last :D

Nick

Well done. I am a 25 year marage verteran. Love can last for ever but it will probably change some.
I have always had the old car the wife and kids the better one.

Hey guys, thanks for all the great replies.

She is a great girl and even wants to try some of the knife making stuff. Well, I have to clean up the basement a little before she will come down there. Right now I have a little narrow path back to the washer and dryer, so she can do her thing. Man women wash alot of clothes!;)

She says the basement is mine and the rest of the house is hers. Heck that works for me! She will be happier when I get that dumpster delivered and clean out the basement. Looks like I will either have to build a garage or get rid of my pack rat habits.

Now, I just need to talk her into modeling the knives in her bikini like Donna does, then I will be in busines. She probably would do it, she suprises me every day anyhow. Hey now here is an Idea, another colaboration knife between Bruce E and myself and then have the women model it.;)

Anyway, thanks again and hopefully things will settle down a bit soon so I can get back in the shop and get some more knives made.
