Things you didn't know about the ZT 0300

LOL, why did the strange man spend a lot of time cutting up finger-thick branches.

As for the cinder block stunt; that looks like an easy way to get hurt.

I for one thought his review was spot on, just the other day I was out cutting down dead twigs when out of no where a pile of bricks fell right on me. The real heart breaker was, aside from the bodily harm of course, that it broke the tip right off my Spyderco. Well lesson learned, next time I'll be carrying a ZT.

Careful guys, you may end up getting an internet youtube militia riled up in here, insinuating things you never said, and defending the validity of the "field testing".

It cut through a half of piece of card board after all that? WHAT???

All this time I thought that hole was for lanyards. Why didn't he mention that the thumb studs also act as reflectors like on a bicycle in case you're trying to flag someone down?

man oh man have I been doing things wrong for years. Ive got a bunch of knives all bagged up and ready to head out to the garage for some serious cinder block drop tests.

We have a name for guys like this where I come from...mook...and his editorial will be regarded as such. As the others have mentioned...why the cinder block test? Like another famous review on this forum...let me see if I can cut a cinder block with my knife...if I'm in the wilderness trying to survive...why the **** am I trying to cut up cinder blocks?

Terrible video.
Class "A" idiot.
Too bad a nice knife had to go to him.

Probably will be sold online as "lightly used." :D

I bought the 301 and feel gypped. It only has the titanium frame. But seriously I did a better job whittling branches when I was seven with a Barlow my grandad gave me. I give him kudos for at least trying. Even if clueless.

What if he got his hands on a BK9, or any fixed blade! He would be sooo impressed...
No serrations, and a proper size for chopping. Pure garbage!

What got me was the flagrant idiocy of the cinder block test. Why the f*** would you drop a cinder block on your knife? Do you also slam your car into mailboxes to test durability? Also, serrations are for sawing, not carving, and folders are for EDC, not survival. Dummy.

LOL...im sure he would, but Ive 100 bucks that says he still goes out and "tests" the knife on finger sized twigs...making spears for self defense, etc.. <jerkit removed - W&C only>

Looks like I need to start dropping cinder blocks on my Sebenza to show how I hard use it.

Haha, yes, and then he would drop some bricks on it, break it, and ask Ethan for a new one...

Might be a good idea not to use and quote the use of that particular emoticon in General.

Throughout the whole video I just couldn't help to think that guy will get hired by Cold Steel to do "knife testing" to show how good their knives are in "non-tactical" situations but "survival" situations.

I was going to say, "Take that, Cold Steel!", but you beat me to it by one post.
