Found what appeared to be to good of a deal to pass up. A seller on the bay had what he listed as a "Swedish-style Military Survival Knife 4 Inch Blade With Zytel Sheath NIB!" for 35 bucks shipped, I bit, hook, line and sinker, don't know what I was thinking. Got to digging around and found another similar Chinese site that has these things listed for around 13 bucks a piece. Fallkniven F1, made no reference to it on the add but good clear close up pictures revealed that is clearly what it was, name and even Lam VG10 stamped on the blade, not missing a detail. I feel like such a stooge, guys better watch out now, the fricken Chinese are putting out fakes of everything, my luck its junk 420 steel.

Think of it the other way: you learned a valuable lesson for the low low price of $22!

Chinese? Meets expectations...for the money.
Some Chinese folders are decent, but you may not have gotten one.

Well, kinda one of those deals, only thing the guy had listed for sale, i'm thinking, maybe it was a gift and the guy just doesn't know what he has. We've all been there, after I pulled the trigger, 100% feedback, then I look in his sales history and he sold 2 others for the same price as mine and one he had listed for 80 bucks. Trust me, it wasn't deliberate.

Next time wait longer and save more money to buy something not made in China.

Please don't tell us you used Paypal Gift?

If not, you would OK in times like this...

I don't believe ebay lets you use the gift option and for good reason....

These F1 fakes have been around for a while. Nothing new. Send it back. Ebay will almost always side with a buyer even if they shouldn't.

Sorry to hear of this incident. I am afraid to buy anything on ebay that is a current model in production. Especially if the price is irresistibly attractive. I also pay attention to the representation, ie; worded item description. Like the way they said "Swedish-style Military Survival Knife 4 Inch Blade" without making a representation that it was a Fallkniven F1.
I do buy older discontinued models as I believe that counterfeiting such old
models would not be lucrative for the criminals. But since they used an F1 photo I am sure ebay will back your claim.

When something looks too good to be true - way too good, in this case - it probably is. Return the fake when you get it and alert eBay that the seller is knowingly selling counterfeit items. They wouldn't be selling it at such a low price (or using an "X-Style" or "Y-Style" title, a surefire sign of a fake) unless they knew.
