Think I'll keep her!

Sounds like you've found a great wife/soulmate. Take care and God Bless you and your family.

My mom, 89, is just about at the end. Only gets out of bed for meals and bathroom trips. Frequent bouts of dementia. My two sisters and I work shifts during the week to continue to care for her at home where she wants to remain. I travel the 125 miles to her house on Thursday Mornings and return home on Saturday. We have been doing this since around last Thanksgiving Day, and she has already lived much longer than was being predicted then. It is a grueling, tiring job. Note the days of my shift. Pretty much rules out Blade this year.

So my school teacher wife Kathy, who is my "enabler" for buying knives, volunteered to take my shift so Kim and I can go to Blade. Since this week was spring break, she used her time off to travel with me to get acquainted with what has to be done, feeding, medications, etc. This is the kind of thing I have had to put up with from her for nearly 39 years now.

You're one lucky HOG...
