Thinking About A Kephart Run

John, thank you for making the option available of offering a Kephart for those people who are on a budget. I'm definitely onboard w/ getting a Kephart. The quality of my Anniversary Knife has earned you some more of my money, LOL.

If you are doing a run of these, I'm in. I don't want the budget version, but rather the full Monty. I like the look of the black handle and started thinking about buffalo horn. Any interest or would you prefer to stick with black micarta? 4.5" sounds good to me.

Neither of my suppliers have the horn. Standard price on the Kephart in any of my fancier materials is $140. If you are interested in black micarta (canvas or linen)) shoot me an email and I `ll get you in the book. I`d need to know what pins (1/8" steel or brass, or 1/4" aluminum or brass) if you want a lanyard hole, and if you want handle liners (red, white, black or yellow +$5)
 
I will be ordering one soon. I have your Kephart but really want one with tan Micarta.

You read my mind, but mine will need a 3 7/8" blade :mad:. Just have to wait a bit since I'll be sending John some money in the morning for my Anniversary EDC. (If you read this John I'll email a tracking number tommorrow).

I also need to decide if I want a straight back or not.:confused:

As you guys all know, any difference in blade length is no problem! I`m doing a 3 3/4" SB Kephart for j williams the end of this month. He liked Bear`s so much that he wants one too. Fishiker ordered a SB, and Rotte ordered a standard shape 4 1/2" blade deluxe model. :thumbup:

I'm going with Black Micarta and red liners. For some reason I wanted a black handle on this knife and thought the red spacers would dress it up a bit. I love wood slabs, but Micarta has to be the best handle material ever devised.

Although tiger maple would look awfully good....

I had to have john push it back to next month though, as some uncool BS came up im dealin with. :mad:

Mikes makin the pants for mine too.
