I have two field knives and love them both.. IMHO there is absolutely no better knife made for the money that any of Daniel's Winkler II series.. buy it you wont be sorry

Well as a late update:

Thank you all for the input here. I believe I have a field knife in the works from the man himself. Needless to say, I am very excited to receive it. It will, hopefully become my go to knife for most everything outdoors. I will update the thread when it's in hand.

thinking the field or hunter for my self, hike/camp etc. need help picking the length.
i play with the belt and hunter at a store but never see the field knife in person.

(also like the belt but already got lots 4inch brushcraft style.)
