Thinking about getting a para 2....

Agree with everyone here, when I first got it, I kinda thought "whats so special...?"

As weeks passed, I found that the ease of use, the awesome lock-up, and NO blade play, sold me. Plus it looks super good. To those saying that it is "dinky", I respectably disagree. If you play around with the pivot screw a little, it is a solid, decent sized knife that feels great.

If you like the Manix 2, I think you will come to appreciate the Para 2. For a $100 you get quite a bit of knife and it carries a little easier than the Manix

The Para 2 was the only Spyderco I ever owned that I didn't warm to. It didn't feel right in the hand for me and I found the locking mechanism fiddly to use. I like my Military much better. I like the Stretch even more.

Dddoooooooo iiiiiiiitttt!!!!

The para2 is a working knife, a knife user's knife. As you use it and it just works the way its supposed to you see its genius. Its a knife designed to cut with little regard to much else.

The cool thing is the para2 is also a knife collector's knife. Chasing sprint runs is, in essence, what knife collecting is all about.

Really its just a well designed, well made knife with premium materials made in the USA, and just happens to be an excellent performer. What's not to like?
