This is just my opinion: I see those blue bone ones more as anomalies than as good Schrade examples. They just don't have any redeeming aesthetic value as far as I'm concerned. I think the standard sawcut delrin Old Timers or staglon Uncle Henry models have much more character.
There are some nice bone versions if you prefer that however: some recent examples are the heritage series, cigar box classics, and a set of 4 Old Timer Classics, if memory serves.
I don't know about a hundred bucks apiece, seems a little steep, but I admit I don't know anything about what the production numbers where on these. There are a couple of guys selling the blue bone PH2's on ebay for about $60. They come with DU sheaths. I own one of these myself :
I agree with dlk as far as classic Schrades go, I'm more partial to the brown boxed old timers myself. Some real history there, especially if you're putting them away for a number of years.

Thanks for the input .
I must admit I do like the blue bones BECAUSE they are unusual.
I just picked up a couple of nice old timers from an Australian dealer for a shade under 100$ AU !! (each). brand new in box .So yeah 100$ US does seem over the top. AAAAH the joy of ebay!
