Thinking of carving out the cho

Well, the siren call of the Dremel tool beckoned, but I didn't carve out the cho at this time. Will still need to think about it a bit.
I distracted myself by reprofiling the bite of the BAS to be flatter/shallower and with a convex edge. Lacking a belt sander, I used the Dremel tool with coarse and then fine grit sanding wheels followed up with various grits of sand paper.
Pendentive is right, convex edges really improve the performance quite significantly.
