Thinking of getting a DPX HEST 2.0?

No its a good knife! D2 done properly and one of the most even grinds on a production knife I have gotten in awhile. Which save me some time when i sharpen it the day after to hair whittling. Pretty comfy, though I ve heard complaints. It is an awesome size and I love the blade shape. There is a lot of cutting surface within that little blade...2.0 IS underrated!
 
I have a 0550. I wish I had a 2.0 that I could set down and look at both more closely. I know all of the specs, measurements, etc. I do think that the 2.0 has a really thick blade (0.195", IIRC) that could take down a tank, but might be too thick for my light knife needs. My 0550 spine thickness is 0.155" I think. I meaured it last nite.

I have a 2.0 and love it!!!

It is the only left-handed Ti frame lock I could buy for under 350-400. Lock up is solid, carries low in the pocket and although it is hefty, I sometimes forget I even have it and I love the look. The only thing that bugs me a bit is the coating on the blade. It seems to pick up scuffs from pretty much doing nothing. But as soon as it gets bad, I will probably have it stonewashed, get the lock bar carbidized and have some crazy scale made.

For the price I can't see how you could go wrong! :thumbup:
