Thinking Of Offering Optional Steels

good choices - you might also consider A2 as a carbon alternative, since you'll have stainless foil on hand for the HT on a couple of the other options.

I have zero interest in stainless steels. Then again, I'm not in a financial position to be purchasing knives for awhile, so my thoughts really don't matter.

I would skip the 440c unless it's a budget option as I haven't had great luck with any 440c. it's ok but nothing to right home about. I would skip it and go with A2 or something else

I wish I could buy more from you and something like CPM154 would probably push me over the hump. I've been looking for a good, stainless outdoors knife and if you plan to offer some SS steels I'll probably hold off and pinch my pennies until that becomes an option.

I was thinking, I would probably buy a folder made in stainless as well as a few fixed blades. I personally don't care for patina on EDC blades, which is the only reason I have not bought one of your folders (although I have come really close to putting in an order).

I think more steel options are a good idea as it will appeal to more customers. That being said I prefer carbon steel and your O1 suits me just fine. I used my Appalachia to split a coconut the other night and it did nothing at all to the edge. Still shaving sharp.

It`s going to cost around $1300 just to start. If orders pick up, I am planning on doing it, just don`t have that extra money to gamble with.

Yeah that is a lot of out of pocket cost up front. I still think when you can swing it that it will be helpful with sales.

I agree 100%, just need to be sure orders keep coming in first. If I get a decent backlog lined up, it`s a go.
