Thinking of selling my chopweiler....but where in europe?

And here I am with a new color to my name :) So, do you have any ideas what it is worth? I have been of from the Exchange and haven´t seen any Chopweiler like mine and with a sheath being sold. I´d like to sell it here, but I want to know where to put the price-tag to see if it is anywhere near what i wish :)

Thanks

I have seen chopweilers sell from 300-400 in the last year or 2, New and used, with and without sheaths.

I got mine for 300 in mint condition with NO sheath.

For yours with sheath, since its used, id say 350 is a decent "fair" price. But id likely start it at 400 and see if it had any bites before reducing it slowly down to 350. I wouldnt take less than 350 personally and feel its worth well over 500.... But this is just my opinion. Since its a knife that is no longer made you can ask what ever you want for it.

But again i think this is one of the best knives to leave the swamp, so id never sell it. Its not easy to get back once you regret selling it. But im sure someone will buy it up with no problems.

I will, thanks :)

No, thank you! :D

Looks like your covered on the value, right at what I was thinking.

For the life of me I can't fathom anyone actually parting with this piece of cutlery. Of all the knives from the swamp/yard ilk, this one ranks right up there with the best of the best, the top of the heap. It is one of those mid sized blades that just does everything well. My camp tramp and the chopweiler will stay with me for the duration. A notable mention goes out to my favored Basic 9 which has been with me through thick and thin. I guess the SOD might be in the same general category and I've seen people rave about that delicious all rounder offering.

Once you get used to a great mid-sized blade that can function smoothly as a jack-of-all-trades, it will rapidly become a well used favorite!

^^^This!!!^^^

When the Chopwieler first got to my shop I was elated about how much it looked and felt like the Steel Heart E handle. I have, somewhere in my pics, a side by side and they are so close its amazing. :)

Easily my favorite 7" Rat. Found the pic!!
