First up is a SAR8 SE with Black and Tan Grips which has seen some light use and has been sharpened and re-profiled by me .... it is still fully convexed but is now "VERY" sharp with more of an "appleseed" convexed grind which I find works best on fully convexed blades .... aside from the re-profiling by the edge the satin finish is "stock Busse" and there are no "heavy use marks" nor are there any noticeable kydex scratches. The sheath is a Mashed Cat one and works well in this respect.... the knife comes with a Rainwalker drop leg kydex hard loop accessory which I find the nicest and flatest profile for carrying this knife .... much better positioning than a Tek- Lock and it suits the flat profile of the handle and blade as it enables the knife to ride close to the body and this is where the SAR 8 scores really well .... it is a great "carry knife" .... well able to chop too .... definately one of the best "all rounders" from my experience .... it is waiting on a new owner who can give it some full on use ....

For those curious as to why I am selling some knives .... the answer is I think I have too many .... all my knives are "users" but now it is getting very difficult to stay on top of sharpening them all or choosing which ones to "use" .... :D nice "problem" I know but it took me two days to go through about 40 knives just "touching up" the edges to keep everything "spick and span" and I decided this was "telling me something" :D:D ... so time to offer some nice ones to new homes ....

Any way here are the photo's ... took them two days ago so they are all "current" and show the knife "as is" ....

The price is $495 ( $532 new from the store ) for the knife and $65 for the sheath and drop loop .... total $560 .... payable by paypal either using the personal function or plus the fees which are 4% .... I will cover the air mail and it will be sent tracked and insured by "airsure" .... the tracking number will be forwarded on and there is no risk to the buyer until the knife is in your possession .... ( never lost one yet but it pays to be safe ) :)

For the new buyers looking .... the lifetime warranty for a Busse transfers with the knife .... it means what it says .... and that means it is covered for your use and anyone else's down the line .... the best warranty in the Industry ....

I will put the others up as soon as I can ....

Next is a SFNO LE 1-300 .... the number is # 146 and again this has had the lightest of use. The only thing I have done is convex and sharpen the edge and sand a little of the spine down to give a sharper right angle shape and enable it to be used with a fire steel. The knife has no real marks from use and is quite "minty" .... it comes with a Steel Nut kydex sheath and a Rainwalker fixed loop drop leg attachment .... these knives were a limited run after a longstanding appreciation thread for the SFNO and in particular the sabre grind models. There was a time on here when the original sabre ground models would go for $700+ on the exchange here and this was based on their reputation for being an ideal mid-sized knife .... then the limited editions came along and they have the best of the ideal features .... the hand shaped magnum grips are the most comfortable of the options and the sabre grind has just that little bit more weight for chopping .... makes it a very good knife for a "light weight all rounder" ....

The price is $527 including sheath ( which is less than cost ) and payment and delivery terms are the same as that set out above. Payment by Paypal by either the personal button or with fees at 4% and I will cover the air feight charges. It will be sent tracked and insured by Airsure and I will forward the tracking number. Risk is on me until delivered ....

This next one is quite rare .... it is a special I got from Knob Creek in the Fall of 2008 .... it is a Satin FBM with a flat grind which mic's at .27 on the spine just in front of the grips which is the "favourite" ideal spec on the flat grinds for "thickness" .... not too heavy and not too light .... this is what most prefer .... and it comes with black linen magnum micarta grips which I smoothed down for chopping comfort ...

I don't think I have ever seen another ... and the edge has had a lot of time spent on it .... this convex edge I prepared to use the knife as a competition cutter .... it can take a "scary sharp" Infi edge just by being stropped up with green compound on a leather paddle .... having re-profiled the edge it should'nt need re-doing in that sense and ought to be able to give a life time of use as is .... just strop the edge back of an evening after using the blade.

This knife has seen a fair bit of heavy use but is in fine shape .... the photo's above are recent and show the knife "as is" .... here is a close up of the grip ....

The sheath is a Rainwalker one which was done originally for a FFBM but holds this knife well and there is a little clearance to ensure the satin blade does'nt get kydex scratch marks ... fitting attachments I can sort out with the buyer as there are a number of options depending on what they prefer ... I have a fixed plate with a nylon webbing loop or a dangler system or a Tek-Lock .... personally I carry this knife and others of the same size or bigger in a rucksack .... hence it has no attachment on it in the picture .... but certainly I can fit one and just cover this at cost.

The price for the knife and sheath is $750 and again PP on either a personal tag or with 4% for charges .... shipped tracked and insured as set out above.

Next up is a FSH Variant from the Cupid Ganza with a serrated clip ..... it has magnum hand shaped tan micarta grips and comes with a special custom fit Mashed Cat kydex sheath with a velcro webbing nylon drop leg attachment and thigh strap. The knife measures .32 at the spine just in front of the grip but tapers to .29 just before the clip point and gradually then on to the tip. This gives it a lighter in the hand feel than indicated by the thickness and the balance point is just behind the lower talon hole in a straight line going through the grip. More or less just where your indexing finger sits and it is a fast knife as a result .... plus held in a rearward grip it moves the balance point nicely forward for chopping which it can do very well ....

Here are some pic's from a few days ago ...

The knife has been sharpened and re-profiled by me and has a good convex edge which is very sharp .... the design of the knife lends itself to being a very good "user" in the field ... the clip point works well with a fire steel if you want to use one and the edge on the clip can be used for rawling fire drill holes without causing any damage to the main edge blade .... useful if you want that very sharp for skinning or gralloch work ....

The knife cost $827 in the Ganza and I got it for this plus the sheath off the exchange .... I am looking for $790 which includes the sheath and my shipping the knife by airsure tracked and insured .... payment by paypal either using the personal tag or with 4% for the fees .... not many of these around and it should prove a good investment .... I hope it goes to someone who uses it ... it makes a great "user"
