Jarrett it was nice meeting you and I love my new blade. I will post some pics, once I get a chance to take some good ones.

Bona it was nice meeting you too. I will be back tomorrow checking out some more stuff, and I'm sure I will swing back by the FBF table.

In all seriousness, the insanity of today could not be matched -- got to meet Andy , Ken, and the rest of the crew, said hi to Rick Lowe, checked out the show... And oh yeah, won the Hinderer lottery; dad won the following drawing 5 minutes later?! I'm seriously spent
 
Bladeshow was awesome! It was great meeting the Fiddleback family and other forum members. All great people. I got 3/4 of the knives I targeted in the sneak peak photos! Boubon street skinner, Hunter, Duke w/ curley cue. And a camo handled machete.

Dam Will thats really cool you won that knife! And yea, after waiting in line and then going nuts in the show racing for knives it does something weird to your brain. I left after just a couple hours lol. Im going back tomorrow and I assume it will be a much more relaxed day.

WOW. Some of those are so nice, I feel ill. Nice haul, all of you. Going to have to seriously get to Blade soon. WOW.
 
So I am from and live in Cincinnati, my wife is from Jacksonville, Alabama. We were planning a trip to Alabama next week to visit her family. Sadly, last Friday, her 2 year old nephew passed away in his sleep. We obviously rushed to Alabama to be with family. It's been a very difficult week and today were the services. Lying in bed tonight, my beautiful wife looks at me and asks me if I want to shoot over to Atlanta (2 hours) tomorrow for the Blade show? Obviously I said "YES!" She is such an amazing woman, I am so blessed. Bottom line...ill be seeing some bad ass blades tomorrow! I am so excited I cant sleep now! If anyone wants to meet up, holler at me. It will be nice to put some faces with names.
 
Sorry to hear the bad news! I hope you have a great time at Blade! A new Fiddleback in hand is always comforting!!!

Will, congrats on the blackwood SP, that must be AMAZING! I had several friends send me pics of the malle burl one that was next to it, but it got snagged right after the pics were sent. So.... what all do you have in blackwood?

On the Sneaky family, some knives have the perfect relationship of blade to handle, the cutting edge in perfect position to the scales.... that knife is better than perfect in my book! and..... look at that cool smaller than average guard! WOW! You did good! As a matter of fact, every one came home with ridiculously nice Fiddlebacks! I am sad I was at work today!!!!!!

Very nice scores for all of you. It looks like "casting a wide net" for a big catch was the rule of the day. Congratulations to all of you for an exiting day at the show.

Hold up .. you ended up with somel nice Fiddlebacks today yourself, all while sitting from behind the desk at willic HQ. I know .. not the same without the breathing the stale air of a convention hall that makes you go waaaay nuts and spend more than you should have, .. but still.
