This is a cool knife!

Yeah, you're in Canada (me too). Blade HQ won't even ship here. I've ordered from them before and the first thing they say when they hear Canada is "You can't order autos or balisongs". Stupid as it is, customs will intercept for sure. EVERY manual I've ordered from the US has been opened.

Fugly, :thumbdn:  :thumbdn: ...and the price is ever Fuglier.

Yes, that's a word, I checked with "W".

Big Mike

My thoughts exactly. Whooie! Spend your coins on an XM-18, maybe a Darrel Ralph HTM Radian or Bowie blade with speed assist (they're faster to deploy that a switchie) or a bunch of other knives. How about an inlaid Sebenza....there's three way better deals for ya to consider. ;)

Basically I'm super picky and it has to be perfect for the price.

What I meant was I don't like wasting any money at all. A knife that I buy for me will have to be good enough for me to last forever. Since I can't afford a custom yet, is it possible to get a production knife customized with art?

There are plenty of knives that are $200 or under that will last you a lifetime with regular care and maintenance, as well as responsible use. Plenty.

What you aren't very likely to find, is a production folder that is machined, ground, and sharpened to "perfection" for that price, especially if you're picky. I'm pretty easy-going when it comes to knife purchases, so to my eyes, several of the knives I've bought over the years are perfect. I have found from visiting these forums that there are plenty of other people who wouldn't agree with me.

Custom art? That's gonna be a matter of buying a knife and then passing it along to someone to customize it to your tastes. It'd be my guess that you couldn't come close to buying an excellent production folder and then having it painted/dyed/etched/otherwise customized for anywhere close to that price.

Your best bet is to read up here on BFC, search the different retail websites, and watch a ton of YouTube videos until you find the type of blade you want, at a quality level you can live with, and that's within your $200 budget. Then, maybe buy some paracord and put a slick & unique lanyard on it, or give someone a few bucks to make a nice one for you (not hard to find and not expensive), and just kinda live with it like that. Sometime down the road, you can decide if it's worth it to you to consider saving up the big bucks and getting a custom that suits your tastes and expectations precisely.

Good luck!

Lurk more.

I would reccomend that you make friends with someone in the upper northern united states if your really into autos. Then I would reccomend that you look into pirhannas for a knife like that for alot less.

http://www.bladehq.com/item--Piranha-Pocket-Automatic--548 this has a very groovy handle and a mirror polished blade for very little scratch, you can then get it customized if you so desire.

If your looking for a manual knife, I cant recall anything so trippy off the top of my head, however, there are plenty of great quality knives for under 200 dollars.

Mcusta makes some very well finished knives for your price range. the less frequently touted nemesis knives makes some great midtech knives in your range. Benchmade makes some very well polished knives for well under 200 dollars street price.

Right at your price range is the zero tolerance hinderer collaboration, I think that is most likely what I would get.

Keep looking, there are plenty of great knives out there for the 200 dollar mark.

wow, that knife really sucks. $750 for that girly knife,LOL.....with that much money you could get a good pistol and a shotgun to go with it.

For $200, get ZT 0550.
Or add a little more $$, get a ZT 0560.

Can someone recommend me a custom knife? 200 dollars (including shipping) max. Basically I'm super picky and it has to be perfect for the price. It's a knife I"ll keep forever.
