This is all Weaponeer's (Bruce's) fault....

Dear GSO......

I would like to extend to you my most sincere thanks for your generous support of my questionable bad habits...... I consider you, unmet, a man of exquisite good taste and rare discernment........ I have high hopes that your Beckers treat you well and work their little buns off for you..... Hopefully I will have a chance to meet you at SHOT or BLADE and have an opportunity to buy you a beer at the very least........ Thank you sir.......

All my best to you this Christmas season and have A happy and prosperous New Year.....

Ethan

Oh, and many thanks to the Weaponeer as well......

Ethan

You're welcome, Uncle Ethan! I will try to keep GSO on the straight and narrow path. I was his military sponsor when he came to Fort Hood as a young Captain (Grasshopper) back in 1998. I have tried to instill the true wisdom of sharp, durable blades to this young warrior. I think at our Thursday lunch we will discuss how we can get to the SHOT show next year. I have never been to one and would love to figure out a rationale or an invite to go. I hope to be able to buy you a beer one day. :)

Mr. Becker,

Thank you very much for the kind words. The great quality of your products makes it difficult not to support them! And I am indeed looking forward to getting some good work out of these knives in the outdoors and the kitchen. I'll also look forward to meet you at a one of the events and a beer or three.

It's been a very good early Christmas for me, as you can tell. I'd like to also wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and blessed New Year.

Warmest regards,

Greg

It seems to be getting a little deep in here.... And actually, I think I was a young Major, but it was still quite a few miles ago. However, as Toby Keith says, "I ain't as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was."

The big lesson that I learned from Weaponeer is that "anything worth doing, is worth overdoing."
