Just kidding. I was dropping the Browns off at the bowl game last night and flipping through this months issue of the Butt K catalog and right before I made it useful as a rabbit fur, I noticed something that I found extremely amusing. Apparently there's a new guy over at Butt K designing knives. I think his name is Tahm Broun. Anyways, seems pretty original. Not to mention how useful that handle buttplug dagger thing must be. Isn't this thing TOTALLY RAD?!

Coincidentally, whilst finishing the bidness at hand, I almost jumped up on my bits and pieces thanks to this catalog.

Enjoy

Thanks for the catalog link, I've been chuckling over it for a while now...so far, this quote is my favorite:

Military Survival Knife
17 BK1281
A good survival knife does not have to cost more than a gallon of gas!
The BudK Catalog Price: $3.99

Way old news. What's more interesting is how well it seemed to fare among the few folks who actually used one. BTW, it seems to be in it's second run. The design has changed a bit since the first Paratraxx.

Furthermore, these "tracker" knives have been widely cloned. There is no substantive issue here.

Hilarious post. I have a hatchet from Gerber that does the same thing, with a knife in the handle. Can't say I've used it yet though.

funny post.

i saw those starting about a year ago in their catalogue (which is always great for laughs and every once in a while i actually see something i might want to spend money on).

with the right steel, and better grinds, that knife looks like it has the right proportions to actually do what the tom brown is supposed to do, that being chopping and being a drawknife. with the mini knife, that would eliminate the need for the control of a smaller blade...

ha well it seems like i always saying that about knives with good looking profiles from those sorts of catalogues..."if it was better steel with good grinds..."
